– Not suitable for kayaks, canoes, catamarans, Lund, Alumacraft, Smoker Craft, Crestliner, Tracker, or pontoon tubes
– Easy to install with 3M adhesive (primer recommended for best capabilities)
– Should be mounted at least 4-6 inches above the waterline
– Recommended to keep keel guard and boat hull at the same temperature during application

Other Information:
– The 3M adhesive does not bond to LSE plastic used in most kayaks or canoes
– Not suitable for catamarans with sharp keels or boats with reinforced center keels
– Can be applied over slightly raised strakes and chines with sealant
– Must remove boat bottom paint or anti-fouling paint before installation
– Recommended to extend the keel guard beyond the lowest point of the boat to prevent snagging and tearing
– Avoid leaning the boat against v-blocks, bunks, rollers, or bow stops for best adhesion of the adhesive
